Added 2023-08-29 15:46:13 +0000 UTCI decided to start a quest where I'd watch all the movies by Jennifer Lawrence. I started with No Hard Feelings, which I thought was amazing. Then, I decided to watch Silver Linings Playbook. It was released 10 years ago, and was nominated for a bunch of Oscars back then. My expectations were HIGH. God, the first half of this movie is BORING. I was expecting something more light hearted and funny (based on the trailer). However, the second half of the movie was its redemption. A Christmas scene to end it? You know how to get me! Still, Bradley Cooper, Robert De Niro and Jennifer Lawrence make a great team in this movie. It does a great job at depicting what it's really like to live with mental illness. It makes the characters feel so relatable because they are relatable. Apparently, the book is even better. I won't read it! LOL I had enough of the movie. I see why some people may absolutely be in love with it. But to me? It was okay, nothing more, nothing less. Up next? I'm thinking about Red Sparrow tonight. This one had horrible critics but Jennifer Lawrence is some sort of sex spy in it. HELL YA! Will keep you posted ;) Updated rankings of JL movies: 1.
