Does your dog deal with any of these issues?
Itching and scratching (like the paws by the nails, or ears, or folds of skin, or have, hair loss, or a strong smell on their fur b/w their tows?
If so it could be a yeast issue!
What is Yeast in Dogs? Yeast is a natural fungus that lives in a dog’s body. Having too much of it can create illness but yeast is part of a dog's microbiome… but too much of a good thing can turn ugly. Yeast infections in dogs is also most visible in a dog’s ears, between their paw pads, or in their skin folds.
So if you want to check with your vet that would be step 1!
But step 2 for us b/c Mila doesn't have stinky anything anymore was looking at her food b/c you want to weaken the enemy by starving it. Candida and yeast survive on sugar, so a diet high in protein and fat (be sure you work with a veterinary nutritionist if your dog has any pancreas or liver or kidney issues!) and very low in carbohydrates (meaning zero grains and mostly green vegetables) will start to starve the cells. =)
And step 3 for us was coconut oil. She gets it daily in her mouth when we brush her teeth daily!
