5 Ways to cure writer's block 1. Go somewhere new to start writing! A change of scenery does wonders for creativity and the brain. 2. Work on a different part of the draft or another project. Sometimes taking a step back brings a new perspective you didn't see before. 3. Go to a museum. Pick a subject you're interested in, art, science, or history, and go to a mu- seum! There are so many things inside to inspire you. 4. Read something in the same genre or category as your project. For example, if you're stuck on a poem-read some poetry etc. 5. Listen to music, and imagine the stories and characters. Try asking, "What if?" As an extra tip, always carry a little notebook or have the notes app quickly accessible on your phone so you can write ideas down in the moment. You may think you'll remember, but I prom- ise many great ideas are forgotten this way.
