(It’s what helps me to do what I’m doing in that video 😉) Rekordbox is a tool used my most DJs because it’s compatible with Pioneer Decks (which is what 99.99% of clubs use) It’s basically a software tool you download onto your computer and you’re able to transfer all of your downloaded music into there. Once your music is in Rekordbox, that’s where you plug in your usb & can start to organize all of your music into folders, which will save right onto your usb. It’s honestly an amazing tool to use if you’re getting into or have been in the DJ world. It keeps all of your music in one place, let’s you organize your music the way YOU want to & if you want to get fancy, you can add cues to songs (cues meaning the song will start at whatever minute & second you cued it up for. That’s good for if you’re planning a set ahead of time!) All in all, I would say as a DJ and diving into my DJ career, Rekordbox and Beatport (scroll down for the video👇🏼) are the 2 main resources I personally use.
