Added 2021-06-01 05:20:47 +0000 UTCHit 26, so here are some things I’ve learned in my early 20s ~ I learned that... people will come and go, sometimes for no reason at all. you aren’t supposed to have it together. actually, no one has it together, so don’t believe what you see. your circle will become smaller, but with those that matter the most. people that don’t respect you, your time and your emotions are not worth the chase. even if you feel like it is, just fucking don’t. friendships are everything. heartbreak is real. and it fucking hurts. but you’re going to be okay. healing doesn’t happen overnight. independence is crucial, because one day you might wake up and have no one. happiness comes from you. and only you. family relations are the foundation of yourself. don’t be afraid to say no. mental and physical health is so important. value that. you’re going to feel like you’re being pulled in a million directions. trust your instincts. do not let people take advantage of you. words can hurt more than actions. so use them wisely. women are powerful as fuck. life can change fast. I am the happiest and most freeing I’ve ever been. even though I feel fucking lost, I truly feel like I’m riding the wave of life. And god damn, it’s fun. 🤍
