hey, long time no update! honestly august was a weird month ..

hey, long time no update! honestly august was a weird month for me. Lots of insane ups and downs, stress and good times, and more stress LOL. I am trying to focus more on the positives, starting with the cool things I got to do this past week to kickoff September! You may not all know this unless you’ve been following me for a long time, but I do event work for Square Enix a few times per year. This last weekend we had PAX West in Seattle, and I was working at the final fantasy 14 booth. It was a pretty good time, aside from the pain I put my body in from standing 10 hours a day 4 days in a row 😂

I also built some connections through networking with other companies and I was able to take a tour of Nintendo HQ this week! It feels really special because in order to go inside, you have to be an invited guest. I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of anything past the front office, but I can tell you it was really cool in there. They have a large buffet style cafeteria called “Cafe Mario” and they served REALLY DELICIOUS high quality food, for shockingly cheap prices. I’m still thinking about that salmon I had in there 😩👌 They also have a mini museum area and an exclusive gift shop that has a mix of things you can buy online but for cheaper prices, and some Nintendo Redmond exclusive items you can only buy in there. The office was insanely good vibes, everyone who worked there seemed to be really happy and excited to be there, it was a really nice environment.

As far as other life stuff and why august was weird, I had a lot of highlights of getting to see a lot of Vancouver friends, go to anime Revolution and get some cool artist alley stuff, and got to go camping. On the downsides, I’m struggling really bad with some health issues again. I’ve gotten sick like 4 different times throughout the past 2 months, and I’m having some chronic issues that don’t seem to be improving, so I’ll need to go to the doctors again. I’d also say it’s a pretty big downside for me that I haven’t been able to post as much or keep up with my content while I’ve been gone. I literally just got back to my house today and was gone for a whole month 😭😭😭 its been rough on me mentally falling back behind on my work again. But, to alleviate some stress while recovering from illnesses I’ve had to push some things back. I am going to do my best to get back into the swing of things now that I’m finally home! Got a bit more belated summer content for y’all and then it’s SPOOKY TIME!!! I’m very excited for that hehe. See you again soon!!
